The local School Council, whose authority is derived from the Pastor of the parish, is called into being by the Pastor and is given its mission to consult the Principal and Pastor in areas of finances, school enhancement, policy, development and strategic planning.

The School Council is established to serve as a consultative body to the Pastor and the Principal. Each Council is composed of elected, appointed and ex-officio members as set forth in the constitution.

The parents of students attending Sacred Heart Catholic School automatically belong to the Parent-Teacher Club. As members they are expected to attend regular P.T.C. meetings, pay annual P.T.C. dues, and help out in school related projects when requested to do so. All parents are expected to do their fair share in creating an organization whose primary purpose is to build and maintain good home and school relationships, to foster unity between home and school, and to contribute to the growth of the school for the sake of their children enrolled. Parent involvement inside and outside the school improves parent–child relationships, parent–teacher communication and the overall family–friendly atmosphere to improve the quality of education.
